Plan78 was founded march 2006 by Bram Van Rompaey and Reinout Swinnen.

After both graduating at the Saint Lukas College in Brussels (2002), they started there carreer as animator and illustrator. Both their graduation films got selected for various international film festivals. Reinout’s animated short “Something Fishy” received an honourable mentioning of the jury at the Holland Animation Film Festival, and won the award for best animated short at the film festival “Leuven Kort”. This film later also appeared on DVD and was shown several times on television. Bram won several awards for his illustrations for “What’s your excuse”, an exposition of Mekanik Strip in Antwerp

During their studies in Brussels, Bram and Reinout already worked together on several occasions, so they decided to join forces and form Plan78. Their first assignments show that this uniting of efforts was a good idea: both born in 1978, sharing the same passion, they have styles that are visually very different, but which are perfectly complementary to one another.
